Look who I met this weekend!

snoopy_1Rok (the boyfriend) and I visited a foster home this weekend! I haven’t told you yet, but our three cats Peggy, Fergie and Kim were all adopted from a nonprofit cat rescue. They occasionally help dogs too, but their main focus are cats. They have their own non profit vet clinic and a store, but all the cats (and dogs) live in foster homes with volunteers, so they always feel like members of the family. I can’t be a foster mom at the moment, so I mostly help with donations, but since I know some of the volunteers I visit them every now and then. I couldn’t help myself so I took some pictures of Snoopy (the white boy, with orange marks) and little calico cupcake. :)

snoopy_2snoopy_3snoopy_5Isn’t she adorable?? This is my favorite photo of her. My knee looks huge compared to her tiny paws, but she is really small. She’s about 4 months old, but weighs only about 1200 grams (2.6 pounds), because she had a really bad cold and worms (a ton of worms, poor girl), which caused the weight loss. She’s better now and I’m sure she’ll grow into a gorgeous healthy girl.

snoopy_11Like I said – tiny kitty!

snoopy_7We had to play with her, she had so much energy!

snoopy_10Snoopy decided to join us and he was super careful, but still showed interest.

Because they are not the only fosters in the home, they had to be put in a huge dog crate, so they could eat their lunch without distractions. Snoopy especially needs more time to eat, because he’s such a gentle boy that he does everything slowly.

And then this happened.

snoopy_12Don’t you just want to take her out and run home with her?

snoopy_13Let me out, please!

snoopy_14Snoopy however decided it was nap time.

We left after that and I am still thinking about these two. I could just adopt them both. Cat number 4 definitely is an option, we’re just not completely sure about it right now. But it’s hard to say no…

snoopy_6snoopy_9Adorable, right?
